18k Art Nouveau Designer Mythical Stickpin

Description:  An antique Art Nouveau c1890s 18k tested Abel Bros. & Co. mythical stickpin in yellow gold. 

Measures:  24mm x 70mm

Weight:  3.60g (including stickpin clutch)

Note:  The rapid spread of wealth by the 1860s resulted in more artistic freedom with regards to mediums, themes, and jewels. Stickpins allowed jewelers to explore their imagination and whimsy on a smaller scale without the same limitations expected of larger pieces.
