18k Victorian 37.45ct Inlaid Natural Amethyst

Description:  An antique Victorian faceted 37.45ct natural amethyst with a gothic letter D, inlaid with 18k warm yellow gold and single-cut diamonds (untested to preserve the surface integrity). The inlay is executed using the refined piqué technique, where gold is pressed into shallow carvings on the gem’s surface to create a seamless, gleaming design.
