Description:  A Set of antique Art Nouveau 14k tested serpent cufflinks with 10k tested backings. It was common to have a lower karat or gold filled backings as a matter of practicality. Backings take one more mechanical stress so lower karat alloy or a gold-filled base would be more durable.
